Our Mission
NihongoDoya (日本語ドヤ) is a comprehensive Japanese-language learning platform for students of all
levels — from complete beginners starting with the basics (JLPT N5) to advanced learners mastering
complex grammar and vocabulary (JLPT N1), as well as those preparing for the JFT-Basic test. We provide
organised study materials, structured lessons, interactive practice tools and original character
resources so you can study at your own pace and reach your goals.
Our mission is simple: make high-quality Japanese study materials free, clear and well
organised for everyone. Every learner deserves resources that explain not just the rules,
but the real-world context behind them.
Who We Are
NihongoDoya is an independent project run from Nepal, built and maintained by one person —
Rahul Kumar Singh, a Japanese
learner and web developer studying at a language school in Nepal. I write the lessons and example sentences myself, verify
readings and meanings against openly licensed dictionary sources, and build every tool on this
site by hand. The platform is supported by optional advertising and clearly disclosed affiliate
commissions, which help me keep the learning resources free to use. You can read more about how content is created and checked in the
Editorial Policy and learn more about me on the
About the Author page.
