Who We Are

NihongoDoya is managed and published by the NihongoDoya Editorial Team — a collaborative team of Japanese language educators, curriculum researchers, and web developers dedicated to creating open, accessible, and structured Japanese study resources.

Our team develops comprehensive study systems for JLPT (N5 to N1) and JFT-Basic learners across the globe. We combine structured grammar lessons, categorized vocabulary sheets, kanji stroke diagrams, and interactive web tools to provide a clean and cohesive learning experience without paywalls.

Our Educational Standards

To ensure high quality and pedagogical reliability across every guide and lesson, our editorial team follows rigorous standards:

Open, Verified Dictionaries: Every vocabulary reading, kanji stroke order, and definition is validated against authoritative open lexical databases, including the EDRDG KANJIDIC2 and JMdict projects.

Multi-Reference Grammar Synthesis: Our grammar explanations are cross-checked across standard textbooks, native speech corpora, and contemporary pedagogical frameworks to explain the true nuance behind grammar rules.

Natural, Modern Usage: Example sentences are created in-house to represent natural everyday communication in Japan, covering both formal (keigo/polite) and casual registers.

Rapid Corrections & Open Feedback: We actively maintain and refine all content. When learners or teachers suggest an improvement or spot a typo, our editorial team reviews and updates the material promptly.
