1. Educational Purpose Only
NihongoDoya provides free study materials for learners of the Japanese language — grammar notes, vocabulary lists, kanji references, articles and interactive practice tools. Everything on this site is offered for general educational and informational purposes only. It is a self-study aid, not a formal course, and it does not replace instruction from a qualified teacher or an accredited language school.
2. No Affiliation with Testing Bodies
NihongoDoya is an independent project. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Japan Foundation, Japan Educational Exchanges and Services (JEES), the JLPT or JFT-Basic administrations, Prometric, or any other official examination or government body. JLPT level groupings (N5–N1) and CEFR labels (A1–B1) are used descriptively to organise study material. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
3. Accuracy of Content
Content is prepared with care, cross-checked against openly licensed dictionary data (such as the EDRDG's KANJIDIC2 and JMdict projects, credited on the relevant pages) and multiple standard references, and corrected promptly when readers report issues — see our Editorial Policy. Even so, languages are nuanced and mistakes can slip through. Material is provided "as is" without warranties of completeness or accuracy, and exam formats and requirements can change — always confirm current details on the official JLPT or JFT-Basic websites before registering or making decisions based on exam information.
All NihongoDoya mock-test questions are independently created practice material. They are not official questions, recalled live-exam questions or guaranteed predictions. Practice scores are learning indicators only and are not official JLPT or JFT-Basic results.
4. Not Visa, Legal or Career Advice
Some articles discuss exams used in visa processes (such as the JFT-Basic and the Specified Skilled Worker programme) from a language-study perspective only. Nothing on this site is immigration, legal, financial or career advice. Visa requirements are set by the Government of Japan and change over time — consult official government sources or a licensed professional for decisions about working or moving to Japan.
5. Advertising
This site may display advertising, including Google AdSense, after optional-cookie consent. Advertisers have no influence over our content, and their data practices are described in our Privacy Policy. The appearance of an advertisement is not an endorsement by NihongoDoya.
Book titles, cover images, publisher marks and related product artwork belong to their respective owners. They are shown only to identify the books being discussed or recommended. Their appearance does not imply that a publisher, author or retailer endorses NihongoDoya.
6. External Links & Tools
Where we link to external websites, we do so in good faith, but we are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. Our interactive tools (writing sandbox, converters, quizzes, conjugator) are learning aids; audio is generated by your browser's built-in text-to-speech, which approximates — but does not perfectly reproduce — native pronunciation.
7. Questions or Corrections
